Yorkshire Three Peaks, 7 July 2024
Our vision is for every family supporting a child with a life threatening diagnosis to receive hands-on charitable support whilst in hospital. Our focus is practical, emotional, mental health and wellbeing support for children and their families.

Story

As most of you are aware, Oliver has spent a lot of time in hospital over the last few years, he spent 8 months in LGI last year as a result of complications with a standard procedure, which resulted in him becoming septic and getting a brain injury.

As a family we don’t know what we’d have done without the support from The Millie Wrights Children’s Charity. It’s definitely a charity close to my heart. So on the 7th July, myself along with my brother and some friends will be attempting the Yorkshire Three Peaks.

Some of you may remember my canal walk last year from Skipton to Leeds which raised an amazing amount of money. This time I wanted to test myself even further and hopefully raise more well deserved money for the charity.

The Millie Wright Children's Charity exists to address inequalities in hands-on charitable support for families taking care of children with life threatening conditions. It provides practical, emotional and financial help to parents, carers and their wider families.
