Choose your challenge, walk, run or climb. Everyone largely goes the same way but climbers add a route of their choice on each of the nine gritstone edges. It is a 20 mile off road event with 900m of height gain.

Story

Elliot and I are taking part in the Nine Edges Endurance 2024 which is organised by Edale Mountain Rescue Team to help them raise funds to pay for the 24 / 7 emergency service their volunteer members provide to those in trouble.

About the charity

The Edale Mountain Rescue Team (EMRT) is a Registered Charity providing a Search and Rescue Service for the moorland and upland areas of the Peak District National Park. It is staffed entirely by unpaid volunteers and is self funding.
