Story

Hi friends. My time at CAMHS (Children & Adolescents Mental Health Services) was by far the trickiest time of my life. I was in the pits of a mental health crisis and genuinely didn't think I'd make it past the age of 17. Fast forward ten years, and I'm lucky enough to be so much happier and healthier and have found the light at the end of the tunnel.

Christmas for CAMHS are a fantastic charity who provide Christmas gifts for young people who are in mental health inpatient wards over the festive period. They provide a tiny bit of sunshine on very dark days, and I'd love to support them in any way I can.

To support them, I'll be taking on the (slightly wild) challenge of running 5K A DAY throughout December. I've decided on this challenge because running a 5K feels like hell to 27-year-old Ellie, but is nothing compared to the hells that 17-year-old Ellie faced during her time under CAMHS care.

If you're able to donate even £5 I would be so so grateful and that will be enough to provide a lovely Christmas pressie for a young person!
