Half Marathon · 3 November 2024

We help disabled people access snowsport to get fit, learn new skills, and have fun!

Story

George and I will be setting ourselves the challenge of running a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21KM) on Sunday 3rd November 2024 with ‘Run London - Victoria Park’

This November will mark 3 years since the passing of someone very special. We are hoping to raise some money for DSUK, in memory of my dad - Keith Wood.

As a BASI Adaptive Snowboard Instructor working with many DSUK clients over the years, and through his involvement coaching the GB Para Snowsports team, DSUK was an organisation very, very close to dads heart. He firmly believed in DSUK's mission, "that all people have the right to access the unique physical, mental, and social benefits of snowsport, regardless of disability, injury, or experience."
