Story

Laura and Ellie have decided to take part in this year's RUN Hereford - in aid of St Michaels Hospice.

Laura will be tackling the 5km, and Ellie taking on the 10km - we might not be setting any records, but its a challenge for us both, and more importantly, for a fantastic charity!

Dad had a very short battle with cancer at the end of 2023. From us finding out that he had cancer, to being told it had spread to his liver, and then him passing away was just 3.5 weeks. During this time the care he received and support we received as family from the St Michaels Hospice was amazing. Together we managed to care for him at home, and made sure he was as comfortable as possible. We all miss him so much.

We are therefore running in memory of Dad - but also lots of other families who require the support of St Michaels Hospice, whether this is providing care, pain relief, respite or counselling support.

Any donation is amazing!

Thanks

Laura and Ellie Pullen

About the charity

We provide a range of services in Herefordshire and the surrounding area to people living with a terminal illness. Care is free to patients, their families and carers. This is thanks to supporters taking part in events, visiting our shops, playing our Lottery, donating and leaving gifts in wills.
