Story

Me and April are taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon 2025 for Refuge, a charity extremely close to our hearts.

Refuge is the largest domestic violence organisation in the UK. 1 in 4 women experience some form of domestic violence in their lifetime and every 30 seconds the police receive a call for help relating to domestic abuse and this needs to change

We are running for refuge in memory of my lifelong best friend Hannah, her sister Louise and mum Carol who were brutally killed and taken from loved ones before their time. This act of evil has left the most profound devastation and sadness in so many people’s lives and affected all those that knew and loved them. Nobody should ever have to go through something like this.

This is going to be one of the hardest challenges we’ve ever faced together but both feel so motivated by such a worthy cause. We can’t wait to (hopefully) cross the finish line knowing we have made a difference to so many peoples lives with money we hope to raise for this vital charity.

We need all the support we can get and so please please, if you can donate and make a difference <3

Carol, Hannah and Louise touched so many people’s lives and they will never be forgotten. Their legacy will live on in everyone’s hearts forever.

Thank you so much
