In April 2025, I am delighted to be running the London Marathon for Heart UK, in memory of Andy Green.

This is a cause which means an incredible amount to us, as in August 2022, my partner Alex's Dad, Andy, sadly passed away very suddenly after suffering from a heart attack. This came as a huge shock to us all and was very unexpected as he had never suffered from any previous heart conditions. This is why the work that Heart UK do focusing on raising awareness of the dangers of high cholesterol throughout the UK is so important.

Almost half of UK adults have raised cholesterol which can lead to heart disease. Through vital funds raised, Heart UK are able to campaign for improved screening, identification, and treatment of people with raised cholesterol and help us support those diagnosed with either inherited or non-inherited high cholesterol and help reduce their risk of heart disease.

This will be without a doubt my biggest and most physically demanding challenge yet, but I am so excited! What better way to celebrate the last week of my 20's!
