Big Winter Workout 2025 · 1 January 2025 to 31 January 2025 ·

Warm up this winter and get moving for 31 minutes a day for 31 days of January fundraising for Crohn's & Colitis UK.

Story

Imagine living with a lifelong condition that many people have never heard of. That’s the reality for over 500,000 people in the UK living with Crohn’s and Colitis, and millions more living overseas. These conditions are debilitating and can have a profound impact on a person’s life.

My dear colleague Carla Ramos died from complications due to Crohn's disease just before Christmas. She was 29 years old. Other friends and colleagues have suffered with Colitis for many years. Most of us can't really know or understand what it is like to live with these chronic conditions; the anxiety and depression, the fear and shame, the restrictions on diet and activities, and isolation caused by the lack of awareness and understanding.

That’s why I’m taking part in the Big Winter Workout 31/31 challenge to support Crohn’s & Colitis UK.

Crohn’s & Colitis UK is the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. They work tirelessly to improve diagnosis and treatment, fund research, and raise vital awareness. By supporting me, you’ll be helping them continue their important work.

I would really appreciate any donation and support you can give. Together, we can make a real difference to the lives of those living with Crohn’s and Colitis. Thank you!
