The Big Half 2024 · 1 September 2024 ·

We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

On the 9th November 2021, the world lost the beautiful Lucy West to suicide. In memory of her, I will be running The Big Half in London on the 1st September 2024! All money raised will be donated to PAPYRUS.

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

The 13.1 mile course weaves through London from Tower Bridge to the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich.

This is a huge challenge for me and all donations are hugely appreciated.

Thank you everyone :)
