Story
My Dad was diagnosed with an inoperable glioblastoma in September 2014 and he died in July 2015, when I was 10 years old.
I am taking part in the Brain Tumour Research Jump for Hope to raise vital funds for research, so that nobody ever has to go through what my family experienced. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer and just 12% survive beyond five years.
I will be completing the jump with my friend Emma, whose Dad was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in January 2019 and sadly lost his fight in February 2024.
