Hello!

I'm currently doing a gap year at an amazing charity called Adventure Plus. Adventure Plus helps children and young people reach their potential and make positive life choices, whilst giving them a fantastic time in the great outdoors!

On the 31st of May 2025 I am taking on the A+ Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge which I'm very excited about! The challenge will be walking 38.6km and ascending 1585m in 12 hours.

Adventure Plus has really helped get me out of my comfort zone and has helped me face a few fears since starting the gap year. Even though I only started in September, this place and the people in it have already given me a lot more confidence in myself and has really helped further my relationship with Jesus.

We love to welcome young people and see them embrace the adventures that life offers. We are passionate about helping them get active, push themselves and learn more about who they are and what they are capable of – all within the bigger perspective of the Christian faith, which is at the heart of what we do.

Any money raised will be match funded by generous donors! The funds will be going towards digging a 4 acre lake onsite, which will help us reach even more young people through watersports activities which include canoeing, paddle-boarding and my favorite, kayaking!
