Story
With no mountaineering experience, myself and Rosie have decided to take on the highest peak in North Africa- Mount Toukbal at 4,167m tall, aiming to take 6 nights to summit.
We are doing this climb in aid of Marie Curie, the UK’s leading end of life charity. Marie Curie supports people affected by any terminal illness, such as dementia, motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s, heart diseases and advanced cancer.
Every five minutes someone in the UK dies without the care and support they need. The average age that someone experiences their first bereavement is at 20 years old, meaning that for many people across the UK this may happen whilst at University. And with your help we can support them through it.
2024 is the year of growth! To help prepare ourselves for this challenge, we have decided to run the distance of 416km between us in a 60 day period.
We would be so grateful if you could send us any amount of donation which will allow us to take part in this incredible and challenging experience.
