We are blessed to live in a city that has a dedicated hospital for children. The Children's Hospital Charity helps Sheffield Children's to change children's lives every day. Their major appeal is to support funding for the National Centre of Child Health Technology (NCCHT).

The NCCHT will be a place to develop world-leading research and build new technologies to solve the biggest challenges in children's healthcare. It will bring together children, clinicians, inventors and engineers under the same roof, with state-of-the-art facilities for manufacturing, digital development and the opportunity to deliver Sheffield Children’s clinical care.

We are a team of friends and family at Sheffield Hallam who are passionate about the future of children & young people. We have seen the wonderful impact the Children's Hospital Charity has offered and impacted on lives, and we want to offer our support too.

STORY: My daughter benefitted from throat surgery at the Children's Hospital to remove a ruptured and infected thyroglossal duct cyst. This involved an operation to cut open her throat and remove the infection that had entered the base of her tongue. The surgeons at the Children's did an amazing job, the scar is hardly visible even when you know what to look for.
