Join me in making a real impact!

From April 3-10, 2025, my daughter Kathryn and I will embark on the HER Planet Earth expedition -- a journey to empower indigenous women in the Philippines on the frontlines of climate change.

Together with 10 amazing women, we will trek 70km across the stunning landscapes of Northern Luzon, through UNESCO World Heritage sites, ancient rice terraces, and vibrant indigenous communities. Along the way, we'll witness firsthand the resilience and potential of local women.

Our goal is to raise US$50,000 for Conservation International Philippines to fund agriculture projects that strengthen local women’s livelihoods, restore forests, and build climate resilience.

This cause is personal. Years advocating for women in agriculture taught me that smallholder women farmers don't have to be victims of climate change. With training and empowerment, they become leaders of climate action, creating positive change for their families, communities, and our planet. When women thrive, we all win.
