Me and My company (Covea Insurance) have decided to hold a purple day to raise money to support the epilepsy society.

Purple Day is a time to get people talking about epilepsy, raise awareness of the condition and raise vital funds

The epilepsy society are the UK’s only charity transforming the lives of people with epilepsy through world-leading research, advocacy and care.

The epilepsy society have been amazing with supporting me and my family. They have offered treatment and testing that is not always offered to people through the NHS. This can help people find a diagnosis and treatment options for managing their epilepsy.

The main reason for holding this event is because of my sister Oakleigh. She was diagnosed with epilepsy 14 years ago following a car accident. Because of the epilepsy society she is finally getting the help, care and support she needs. I will always be eternally grateful for all they have done for us.

I would love to raise some money for them for everything they have done and continue to do for us.
