We provide vital treatment, care & support to cancer patients and families in Wales

Story

The worst type of friendship!!

"I will if you will"

This ended up with both of us completing Iron Man Wales in 2022 and the Berlin Marathon in 2024

However we are travelling further afield in 2025 and participating in something that scares us possibly the most so far!!!

We are swimming from Alcatraz back to San Francisco, to raise money for Velindre cancer centre.

We are terrified!

The sea temperature will be....cold

There is a fast current...

and there's pollution and wildlife!!

But we will do all we can to complete the challenge and to try and help Velindre to deliver world leading cancer treatment and research for all those who need it

Thank you for visiting our page, all the money donated goes to velindre...travel etc is at our own expense.

Velindre, the Hospital of Hope has been providing specialist treatment and supportive care to cancer patients and families for over 65 years.

Money raised for Velindre Charity helps fund ground breaking research and clinical trials, cutting edge treatments, specialist nurses, support services, therapies, equipment and so much more which are above those provided by the NHS – so donations really do have a significant impact on patients and their families.

Your donation will allow Velindre to continue to provide Hope for the future.
