Story

Thank you for taking the time to view my fundraising page. I will be running the London 2025 Marathon in memory of my mum Julie but also on behalf of my partner James and close friend Rachael.

In 2022 my partner James lost his beautiful mum Heather to cancer at the age of 64. The following year my close friend Rachael would also lose her mum Tess to cancer.

To remember Heather and Tess, I will also be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, who supported James, Rachael and their families through the worst time.

Below is information provided by Macmillan outlining the work they do.

Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
