Story

On the 20th September, the team at Elevation will be putting their walking boots on for a fourth time to raise money in support of our charity partner The Care Workers’ Charity - this time trekking the infamous Three Peaks of the Yorkshire Dales. We are grateful for all donations helping to smash our fundraising target.

The Care Workers’ Charity was founded in 2009 with the objective of supporting current and former care workers. There are 1.5 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society. For the UK's care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it's all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits. The Care Workers' Charity's mission is to advance the financial, professional and mental wellbeing of social care workers by making grants, signposting to resources and providing access to services.
