Since its inception in 2021, the EAP has trained nearly 400 advocates throughout the United States and Globally. Graduates of the EAP make up a grassroots network of engaged and engaging individuals who educate, advocate, and activate others.

Story

Living with migraine can be a daily struggle, but I am grateful for the Emerging Advocates Program (EAP) Grassroots Fundraising Drive. Through this campaign, I am participating in a personal challenge to raise funds to donate to American Migraine Foundation for research, advocacy, education and care opportunities,, treatment ,to help restore hope to all who are suffering, affected by migraines with the goal for all to regain in control inlife to those affected by this debilitating neurological condition. On December 19th, 2023, I will start to push myself to reach my target amount of $500.

As most know, daily migraines on various levels ranging from mild to debilitating have been apart of my life for over six years now. I feel like my life and health was stolen from me. Migraine nausea and pain have impacted every relationship I have and forever has changed my life. Most people who have migraines never receive a diagnosis, and suffer in silence.

Migraine affects nearly 2 billion people worldwide and can disrupt lives, careers, and relationships. By supporting EAP's mission, we empower people like me to advocate for proper care and support. Together, we can change the story of migraine from one of pain and isolation to one of strength, support, and a brighter tomorrow.
