Story

We are raising money for Target Ovarian Cancer in memory of our beloved wife/mum Carol Morris who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer on the 10th August 2022. Mum endured a total of 11 rounds of chemotherapy and fought so bravely, she remained in control right to the end when she sadly passed away on the 22nd October 2023.

In females in the UK, ovarian cancer is the 6th most common cancer, with around 7,500 new cases every year. There are around 4,100 ovarian cancer deaths in the UK every year, that's 11 every day. The five-year relative survival for ovarian cancer in women is below the European average in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Any donation will be gratefully received to help fund life saving research, provide education into early diagnosis and offer support for everyone facing ovarian cancer. Although future research is too late for mum, we want to make sure people in the future do not lose their wife/mum/sister/daughter in the same awful way.
