Story

On the 28th September 2024, myself and my cousin Daisy will be skydiving from 15,000ft in memory of our beautiful Nan <3

On the 26th May 2024, our wonderful Nanny passed away very peacefully at Wigan and Leigh Hospice. After a long battle with Myelofibrosis (a rare form of blood cancer) and COPD, her last 3 weeks of life were spent in this beautiful place. Throughout her time at the hospice, the doctors, nurses and wonderful volunteers went above and beyond to ensure she had every little thing she could've wanted, she called it her 'All-Inclusive 5 Star Hotel'!

The work the hospice does, to give over 1200 people annually the end of life care they deserve, we decided we wanted to do something to give back. The hospice relies on donations to keep going, with less than a third of their funding coming from the government, the fundraising is so so vital.

Words cannot express how truly grateful the whole family is for the hospice, to every Doctor, Nurse, Healthcare Assistant, Volunteer, Catering Staff and every single person behind the scenes, you really are angels.

To our Beautiful Nanny, you are finally at peace and reunited with your Ken.

17/06/1937 - 26/05/2024

We love you always.
