We train amazing hearing dogs to transform the lives of deaf people

Story

🪂 What’s more daunting than jumping out of a plane?

Living without Fig.

I’m deaf, and my hearing dog Fig has completely changed my world. She keeps me safe, makes me laugh daily, and somehow knows what I need before I do. I didn’t realise how heavy the mental load was until she lifted it.

Now I go out alone with confidence. I sleep more soundly. I relax in ways I didn’t know I could. Fig’s not just trained to respond to sounds, she’s the reason I feel truly independent, and like someone always has my back.

So I’m throwing myself out of a plane (casually!) to raise money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, the charity that trained Fig and supports deaf people to live more connected, independent lives.

Every donation helps train more life-changing dogs and support someone else on their journey to meeting their Fig.

This skydive isn’t really for me.

It’s for the next person waiting for a Fig of their own.
