Eleanor's skydive for Hospiscare
Fundraising for Hospiscare
Fundraising for Hospiscare
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I am thrilled (and terrified!) to announce that I will be taking part in a skydive to raise funds for Hospiscare, a charity that is very close to my heart. Hospiscare provides exceptional care and support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses, ensuring that they receive the compassion and dignity they deserve during challenging times.
On Wednesday 23rd July, I will be leaping out of a plane at 15,000 feet, embracing the thrill (and fear) of freefalling through the sky. This exhilarating experience is not just about the adrenaline rush; it is about making a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Every penny raised will go directly to Hospiscare, helping them continue their vital work in our community.
I am jumping because Caz asked me to support a fantastic cause, Louise told me to do it, and Craig said he would not do it without me. I am also totally petrified, but when I told my kids, they thought I was awesome for doing it. So, this will make me a cool mum!
Hospiscare relies on the generosity of people like you to fund their services, which include:
Specialist nursing care and support for patients and their families.
Bereavement support and counseling.
Day hospice services and complementary therapies.
Education and training for healthcare professionals.
Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a significant impact.
I am incredibly grateful for your support and encouragement. Together, we can help Hospiscare continue to provide their invaluable services to those in need. Let’s make this leap of faith (despite my fear of heights) count!
Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
Warm regards,
Eleanor Amos
