We raise funds for The National Hospital to improve the lives of neurology patients

Story

On Saturday 13th July I will be running 100km in memory of Alex Ryan and to raise awareness for a wonderful charity, The National Brain Appeal, who provided so much support to Alex and his family.

TNBA supports The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery - known as Queen Square, who looked after Alex during his treatment.

I wanted to honour Alex’s memory, help fundraise for further research, and support others going through treatment, so I thought I would challenge myself by running 100km from Lewknor to Avebury Stones.

Any donations made will join the incredible efforts already made by Alex’s close friends and family and would be hugely appreciated.

I thank you in advance for your support of a wonderful charity in memory of the incredible and much loved Alex.

About the charity

There are 14.7million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the country's leading neurological centre, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.
