Story
In April I’m running the London Marathon, my first marathon, in support of Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). I wouldn’t describe myself as a runner and being Type 1 diabetic also brings its own challenges to overcome. However, CRY is a cause close to our family as we sadly lost my brother Dafydd to an undiagnosed heart condition without warning in May 2022. I’m running in his memory and to raise money to support the work of Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Please support me by contributing anything you can here on my Justgiving page. Your money will help CRY to continue with their important work.
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. Cardiac Risk In the Young aims to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. They do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
