John has been given the honour of taking part in JR’s jarl squad at this year’s Scalloway Fire Festival so has been beard growing for over a year now, much to the disgust of some family members, particularly our daughter, Elaine.

Elaine thinks it would be a great idea that she shave off the beard following the events associated with the SFF (details in comments) as a fundraiser to support Alzheimer’s Scotland, a charity so close to our hearts.

The shearing will be video streamed live on Facebook on Wednesday 31 January, 2024 at 7pm. Worth a watch 😜
