The marvellous Mustard Tree supports people with a diagnosis of cancer in many ways - they are there to encourage people when they need it, to help, to hold and to care at a really difficult time in people's lives.

Story

I'm raising money for The Mustard Tree Fund which supports the Mustard Tree Centre. It is a hub, a haven of help, for anybody who is affected by Cancer and for their families, carers and loved ones.

A little bit about my story. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021, and underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It was an incredibly difficult time and I was truly grateful to have received an abundance of support from this wonderful charity, who helped me navigate and come to terms with what had happened to me. I genuinely believe I would not be where I am today without their guidance and help.

I am one of many, many people who have benefitted from this amazing charity and the work they do and I would love to give back. This is why they are my chosen charity for this trek.

So, on Saturday 31 May 2025, I, along with other TC Group colleagues will be tackling the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. It is a 24-mile round trip and includes 1585m of ascent. I have never done anything like this before, but am up for the challenge and hoping to raise some money for my cause.

I appreciate you taking the time to read my story and if you would like to make a donation, I would be very grateful!

Thank you
