Story
I’m scared of heights and big rides, so naturally, I’ve decided to jump out a plane! 😰 I'm taking on Nottingham Hospitals Charity's skydive to raise funds for Hayward House Hospice.
Hayward House is a Specialist Palliative Care Unit that provides a calming home-from-home environment for terminally ill patients and patients receiving end of life care.
The money I raise will go towards funding additional nursing posts, including bereavement counsellors to provide compassionate care and a brand new reception area with garden access to make the house more welcoming and allow bed bound patience access into the garden. The money will also be used to fund vital research and training for students and staff at Hayward House and GPS across Nottingham.
Over 1000 patients with advanced, progressive and terminal illnesses, including those at the end of their life are treated at Hayward House. Every donation makes a difference in making their time spend here as relaxed and as comfortable as possible.
I will be taking the leap with my two school pals, Charity Stow and Amelia Findlay, who have been by my side since I was 8 years old 🥹 Having undertaken many adventures together over the years from Duke of Edinburgh expeditions to rescue missions on Croatian Islands, this is our biggest challenge yet! Please support us in any way you can, any donation is greatly appreciated ❤️
