Trek Sahara 2025 · 20 March 2025 ·

A group of Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice supporters are taking on the journey of a lifetime by trekking across the Sahara Desert in March 2025 to raise money for the charity.

Story

I became a volunteer for the Hospice a few years ago when they took wonderful care of my friend Joan when she had pancreatic cancer.

I am really looking forward to this trek to raise funds for such a fantastic place.

I will be paying my own travel expenses etc so every penny donated will go to the Hospice to continue their great work.

Every year they care for nearly 3,000 people with a life-limiting illness and their carers, family and friends. They support the whole family as well as the patient at what can be a very difficult time. All their care is provided free of charge.

Your generous support will help them work with more patients and their families when they need them - now or in the future. Thank you.
