Story

We're excited to announce that the members of Eight Bells will be embarking on a sponsored walk around Snelsmore Common to raise funds for our valued drop-in centre. This vital space in West Berkshire offers a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where individuals experiencing mental health issues, loneliness or isolation can find friendship, support, and a listening ear. Your generous contributions will help sustain the day-to-day operations of this essential community hub. Join us in supporting a cause that makes a real difference in people's lives!

About the charity

We at Eight Bells offer mental health and advocacy support to adults across West Berkshire who experience mental ill health. The charity runs a social group. three days a week, to help people with their mental well-being and overcome isolation and loneliness by meeting and connecting with others. We are a member-led charity so put our members at the heart of all we do. We provide friendship, support and a listening ear in a way that combines supporting and empowering members to lead independent and fulfilling lives. At the drop-in centre, members can pop along for a chat and a cuppa, play prize bingo or take part in training or the many activities that support mental well-being. Our members also organise days out and fundraising events.
