I am doing the Yorkshire 3 Peak challenge in aid of Hornsey Lane Estate Community Association (HLECA).

HLECA operates at the heart of the community, providing services for everyone in a kind and caring environment. It is essential that small scale and community integrated charities such as this one are able to survive in a society where reduced funding and increased costs are presenting such a challenge. In London, there are high levels of food insecurity - so allowing people to work, providing a food hub and a warm place to undertake activities and spend time with people is essential. This is a 24 mile effort including over 1500m of ascent over tough and probably boggy terrain (https://www.threepeakschallenge.uk/yorkshire-three-peaks-challenge/). No breaks, head down and grinding it out. Getting to the start point after work on Friday week will be challenge in itself!
