Story
I am honoured and excited to be running the London Marathon this year for The Felix Project. Through volunteering, I've seen first-hand the good work they do in London - taking edible surplus food and redistributing it to people who need it.
Last year, the charity gave out the equivalent of 32m meals to 1,119 community organisations and over 170 schools across every London borough. 50% of that ended up at organisations supporting those living in the top fifth most deprived areas in London.
Every £10 donated delivers 29 meals - so I am trying to run 10,000 meals to those that need them; 387 meals/mile, or hopefully! 42 meals/minute!
My 5-year old, Felix, thinks that I'm running it for him, and I suppose in a way I am. I (we!) would be so grateful if you could donate any amount in support of this wonderful charity.
Thank you so much.
