Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Once again, stopped only by lockdown and then catching Covid myself, yet again this July I'll be paddling up and down the Thames in aid of the brilliant charity that is WAY Widowed and Young.

To be honest it's really easy - the risk of falling in is low, we only have to row 250m and the worst bit about it is usually having to wear a silly outfit and listen to Hawaii Five O on repeat.

BUT... WAY is THE charity for young people (well 50 and under) who find themselves suddenly thrust into the worst days of their lives when the partner they imagined spending the rest of their lives with dies.

Grief is really not like it is in the movies or anywhere near as easy as any of us expect - it's crap. WAY steps in with an amazing peer-to-peer network of people who really get it - a ready made tribe of people if you like when even closest family or friends have no idea what to do or say.

Please help me help support WAY by reaching into your pockets and chucking some money their way (geddit?)
