Elmira College Alumni, Friends, and Fans of Women’s Wrestling,

Our Soaring Forward Athletic Campaign is underway, and we need your help! This year we are fundraising to travel and compete in the national duals.

Since becoming the first NCAA institution in the state of New York to sponsor women’s wrestling, this program has flourished because of the tremendous support it has received. After three seasons the Soaring Eagles have produced 7 scholar All-Americans, 24 regional place winners, 12 national qualifiers, 2 All-American and 1 US national team member. The team finished 15th in the country and 4th in the region, and 10th at the national duals. These outstanding accomplishments were possible because of your support.

With your assistance, we’re ready to take the next step. The program is bringing in the most talented recruiting class yet, and we’re ready to become one of the top 6 teams in the nation. A donation today will help our program travel to compete in some of the top collegiate wrestling tournaments, including the prestigious, national duals meet championships at the UNI dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Besides travel assistance, your donation will help ensure a great experience for all of our wrestlers and most importantly the continued growth of women’s wrestling at Elmira College.
