Story
Pancreatic Cancer sucks. It’s affected people I care about.
I’m known by some five year olds as “Ellie with the rainbow hair”, it’s quite recognisable so I’ve decided to shave it off in an attempt to raise some money to help combat pancreatic cancer.
I’ve chosen the 8th of April to do this, at 1:37 exactly, as this is an excellent time on Rex Manning day to shave my head and leave the hair in the sink if you want to glue it. (These are Empire Records references and Robin Tunney’s character shaves her head, I’m a 90s girl!)
I’ll probably do a live stream on Facebook.
It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case.
Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to taking on this injustice using every possible means. They're supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future. Help them to make the breakthroughs that people with pancreatic cancer so desperately need.
