Story

In September 2024 a team of Dyson explorers will be embarking on the challenge of a lifetime with the aim of climbing Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjiro, standing at over 19,300 feet above sea level!

Climbing Kili demands determination, dedication, and plenty of energy. We'll be trekking for 7 days, summiting the peak in the evening of the final day after several acclimation sessions and then, only if the conditions are right, will we be able to reach to the top and experience the rare African ice caps and stand on the roof top of the continent.

We are taking on this challenge for a very worthwhile cause and raising extremely valuable funds for Alzheimer's Research UK. We thank you for visiting this page and THANK YOU for your support in this challenge, aiding Alzheimer's Research UK search for a CURE!

If nothing changes, one in two of us will be directly affected by dementia – ether by developing the condition ourselves, caring for someone with it, or both.

As the UK’s leading dementia research charity, we’re determined to stop this from becoming a reality.

We’re working to revolutionise the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia. But we will not stop there.

With your support, we will keep going until every person is free from the heartbreak of dementia. We exist for a cure.
