Since 1995, Pratham has grown to become India's largest Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) solely dedicated to children's education. They have developed innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions that have the power to transform lives. One of their initiatives is Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL), which focuses on basic literacy and learning. They also have specialized programs, such as the Second Chance program, which re-engages women and girls who have previously dropped out of school.

Through their incredible efforts, Pratham directly reaches approximately 500,000 children; Providing them with the opportunity to learn and thrive. In just 100 hours, Pratham's interventions have achieved remarkable results, with 88% of children becoming mathematically capable and 79% able to read. Moreover, they have professionally trained an astounding 150,000 children, with some 27,000 children securing graduate jobs.

Pratham is not only committed to boys' education but also actively works towards bridging the gender gap, enabling girls who have been denied access to education to reclaim their right to learn. Their impact extends far beyond India’s borders, with their solutions being implemented in 130 countries, benefiting an additional 400,000 children in Africa alone.
