This September, three members of the Dunsters Farm team will be pulling on their hiking boots & beginning a 21-mile hike, all for local charity – Bury Hospice.
THE CHALLENGE
The ‘Bury Six’ Trek, taking place on Saturday 28th September will take in 2 waterfalls, 2 towers, and 2 wells – covering roughly 21 picturesque miles and covering 932 metres of climbing.
It is estimated that the trek will average around 11 hours to complete, beginning at 8am from Bury Hospice and returning at some time in the early evening. A great challenge, for an even greater cause…
WHERE THE DONATIONS GO
Bury Hospice provides compassionate, end-of-life care to patients and their families, ensuring dignity, respect, and support in every step of their journey.
The Hospice's Inpatient Unit offers a peaceful environment with private rooms, personalised care, and holistic treatments, caring for over 170 patients annually.
Beyond the hospice walls, the Community Outreach Service supports patients at home with emotional, practical, and situational respite. Whilst Complementary therapies and specialised bereavement counselling, provides additional support for families.
