I'm running the London Marathon 2025 to support refugees, by raising funds for the work of JRS UK!

People who have been forced to flee their homes and seek sanctuary in the UK are often faced with destitution and hostility.

JRS UK accompanies, serves and advocates for the rights of refugees - providing essential support like food, accommodation and advice as well as helping people to navigate a hostile asylum system.

Running the marathon is a new experience! I must admit that I feel daunted to do so but also hopeful and encouraged by the support and solidarity of people around me.

I have been on a placement with JRS UK for the last year and a half and it has been very inspiring and moving to see and be part of the work of JRS.
