The annual Dundee Cyclathon will take place on Sunday 10 September, with the event across the Green Circular Cycle Route, starting at Camperdown Park and taking in the new cycle path alongside Dundee’s Waterfront and the Broughty Ferry Esplanade – and back again to Camperdown Park – a distance of approximately 26 miles.
Keep on Pedalling’ from Monday 11 September until Sunday 24 September.
Participants can set their own achievable distance target and safe route which can be cycled in one go, or spread across different days. It can be more fun taking up the challenge as a group, perhaps accompanied by family and friends – the choice is yours!
The Cyclathon, organised by the Rotary Club of Claverhouse, is in aid of the STV Children’s Appeal, aiming to put a smile on the faces of the 1 in 4 children in Scotland living in poverty.
You can cycle on your own or with friends, outdoors on your bike or indoors on your exercise bike.
Through the monies you raise from families and friends, you will be a hero and you can be proud that every pound you raise will go straight to those who need it the most and will make a real difference.
So, lets all bring sunshine to the city of Dundee and raise loads of money to support our children who really need your help.
