Just Keep Swimming!
That will be the mantra of Michelle, Lise, Lisa, Wiz, Eleanor, James, Duncan and Emma as we aim to spend a collective 24 hours in a lake in Shepperton in mid-June in aid of Level Water. That's three hours each, which is a long time for even the most seasoned swimmer and is going to be a big test for most of us (especially when it's cold and dark in the middle of the night...). Thank you for visiting our fundraising site and an even bigger thank you for any donations you are able to make to support this brilliant charity.
The first splash. The holding your breath. The echoes of laughter. The wet hair. The lifted spirits. The joy of gliding through water. The smile that lasts all day.
Swimming is like nothing else. The skills you develop, the confidence you build and the joys you feel are all universal. Yet access to swimming in the UK is not.
At Level Water, we use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities.
Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.
