We're proud to support our new charity partner, Dementia UK. Dementia UK is the only UK charity caring for people with dementia and their families, with their specialist dementia Admiral Nurses.

Story

On the 19th and 20th June, myself and colleagues from Platform Housing Group will be cycling in excess of 200 miles over two days, from Matlock to Worcester.

This covers part of our operating area, and will raise much needed funds for Dementia Uk.

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Platform Housing Group, a not-for-profit housing association, based in the Midlands, is fundraising this year for Dementia UK.

The charity, as chosen by Platform colleagues, has a special place in many of our teams’ hearts and those of our customers too; and this year we will be digging deep and taking part in some amazing and challenging fundraising events to raise vital funds for this amazing national charity.

Sadly, every 3 minutes someone in the UK develops dementia, and our colleagues who voted to support Dementia UK, all have very personal experiences with the devastating condition. By standing together as Platform, our fundraising efforts can really help the charity by giving them vital funds to continue research into the condition and paying for specialist nursing support for families who need it most.

Thank you for supporting us and enabling us, in turn, to support such a worthwhile charity.
