Story
Hello I’m Duncan and I’m 16 years old. I am taking on an individual sponsored challenge - a "Pipe-athon" as part of our team's efforts to collectively raise £21,000 towards the costs of our travel and participation in Project Malawi 25.
I am a piper and over the next few months, I am going to be completing a “Pipe-athon” whereby I will play 50 hours of bagpipes at different locations across Scotland.
I will be playing in Glasgow, Edinburgh, The Kelpies in Falkirk, Cullen, Stirling, Callander, Crieff, Aberdour and more. By doing so, I hope to raise as much funds as possible to help with this amazing project.
In July 2025 I'll be travelling out to the Likhubula region of Malawi with 16 other senior boys and 4 leaders from Dunblane Boys' Brigade. Our aim is to continue to strengthen relationships with the local community, learn from our peers, and identify projects where we can work together for the benefit of the local villages. This follows on from successful trips in 2016 and 2019 where BBs built and refurbished classrooms to improve educational opportunities for young people in the villages of Psani and Nansanto.
Please consider supporting me and the Malawi 25 project.
