Hey, my name is Larissa and the General Manager of The Duke of Cambridge in Battersea!

I will be taking part in the 'Chase the Moon 10k Run' event at Battersea Park on Wednesday 18th December. I am definitely an active person but by no means a serious runner, though have set myself a little challenge to complete the 10k within 50 minutes (no pressure, eh?)

Being an animal lover & also a Dog-Mum of 2: Deacon, the labrador and Warden, German Shepherd x Husky; I have decided to raise money for the local charity Battersea Dogs & Cats home.

Battersea will always be here for every dog and cat.

Battersea takes dogs and cats in, gives them the expert care they need and finds them new homes that are just right for them.

They help pet owners make informed choices, provide training advice, and campaign for changes in the law.

And they help other rescue centres and charities at home and abroad because they want to be here for every dog and cat, wherever they are, for as long as they need Battersea.
