Story
To mark Young’s 193 Birthday we’ll be raising money for the fantastic charity Wooden Spoon.
Myself and Mr William Quinn will be taking on a route that matches the age of Youngs
We will embark on 193KM cycle from Oxford north through the Cotswolds then back through Oxfordshire and the Chilterns ending in lovely Bedford Arms in Rickmansworth
We will be tackling this over two days and will be passing a few of Young’s Cotswold Estate.
As keen amateur cyclists this will be easily the largest distance either of us have covered this year.
Thanks in advance for your support, more about the charity can be found below. Please give generously 🙏
Thanks
Tim & Willy
More about the Charity-
Wooden Spoon is the children's charity of rugby. We are a grant-making charity and fund life-changing projects across the UK & Ireland.
We have a national footprint, but the largest part of our income is raised by local volunteers. Our aim is that every penny that our volunteers raise is spent in their local communities.
We are asking you, the rugby community, to come together, in the true spirit of rugby and help us change young peoples lives through charities such as Pass the Plate.
The scheme will see Wooden Spoon provide local programme's with monetary donations to help people in these challenging economic times and, will contribute to putting food on the plates of many.
