”By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you give freely of that which you love, and whatever you give, Allah knows it well”- [Qur’an 3:92].
Assalamu Alaikum,
Alhamdullilah I have been given the opportunity to travel to Lebanon and deliver aid with my own hands. I am driven to ease basic living hardships in Lebanon. In reflecting on our own comfortable lives, let's extend a helping hand to those facing challenges. Your charitable contributions will not only provide essential food and aid but also bridge the gap between our comforts and the struggles others endure. In Islam, the act of giving charity is not just an obligation; it's a means of sharing our blessings and ensuring a more equitable world. Together, let's make a meaningful impact by addressing the pressing issue of the scarcity of basic living needs. Your support is a beacon of hope, echoing the principles of compassion and generosity. JazakAllah Khair for being a part of this rewarding journey!
Around 4 million people including 1.5 million displaced Syrians and 2.2 million vulnerable Lebanese, need humanitarian assistance. An estimated 80% of the Lebanese live in poverty and 36% below the extreme poverty line, while 90% of the Syrian refugees cannot cover their basic needs.
£70- Provide a nutritious food parcel to feed a family for a month.
£30- Provide a family with 2 bread deliveries per week for two months.
We will be distributing items such as food parcels, blankets, fuel, mattresses, sanitary items etc.
We cannot attain true and genuine righteousness until we prefer others over ourselves. The most powerful method of preferring others is by parting from our wealth for the sake of others.
