As part of our longstanding partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT), we are continuing our mission to not only raise money but awareness about the incredible work they do.

The only UK cancer charity in the UK to give every young person facing cancer the best care and support. Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) has a specialist unit in almost every major NHS cancer treatment hospital across England, where they fund expert nurses, Youth Support Coordinators and Multidisciplinary Team Coordinators to provide the very best care and support for young people facing cancer. They also fund specialist outreach nurses who work regionally across the country, helping make sure every young person with cancer has access to expert care, no matter where they are. Furthermore they drive change for young people with cancer through policy work, in Westminster and as part of the stakeholder group which supports the All Party Parliamentary Group on Cancer.

In September the Dr.PAWPAW team will be getting muddy and undertaking the Tough Mudder, aiming to reach a target of £5,000.

As a company, Dr.PAWPAW already supports TCT by donating a % of our annual sales to the and also proudly donates 15p from each sale of its Shimmer Balm. Four stories from young people helped by Teenage Cancer Trust feature on the back of the packaging and these moving stories highlight the amazing work of the charity’s nurses, youth support teams, and special hospital wards that help ensure no young person goes through cancer alone.

Every year, Dr.PAWPAW embark on yearly challenges to raise additional funds and this year is no different, as we hope to add vital funds to support this charity that provides care and support for young people facing cancer in the UK.

Our co-founder Johnny and members from the marketing and sales department will be taking on this mighty muddy course, including its famous obstacles like Kiss of Mud, Everest and Electric Shock Therapy. All will test the team both mentally and physically while working together to conquer.
