Dancing with the Docs TBay · 23 November 2024 ·

This year's DWTD Dancers & Doctors are collecting donations for the Clinical Lab at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre!

Story

Look out docs! Our next practitioner has moves like Jagger and plans to take home the top prize! Born and raised in Fall River, Nova Scotia, Dr. Justin Jagger now calls beautiful Thunder Bay home along with his wife and two children.

Dr. Jagger is a 2004 graduate of the MD program at Western University and in 2009, he completed his Paediatrics residency at Queen’s University. Dr. Jagger is currently providing general consultative Paediatric coverage to the children and families of Northwestern Ontario. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine, the current Section Chair of Paediatrics at NOSM University and the former Chief of Paediatrics at the TBRHSC.

When he’s not providing exceptional care to our youth, Justin is a recreational squash player, a Dungeons & Dragons pro, an avid camper and a canoeing enthusiast. The last time he danced in public was at his own wedding 16 years ago! He can't believe his partner, Dr. Athena Young, talked him into this—but we know Dr. Jagger is ready to tap his way to the top and bring home the Mirrorball trophy!
