Story
Pace4Life is embarking on a project that aims to make a significant impact on the lives of patients in developing nations. The initiative involves sending unused pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, and accessories to a charity hospital in a developing nation. By redirecting these unused medical devices to those in need, we can deliver crucial healthcare to patients who cannot afford life-saving treatments like Pacemakers/ICDs/CRT devices implantations. This approach eliminates the wasteful practice of discarding these devices in the United Kingdom.
Our dedicated team of five healthcare professionals from the United Kingdom will travel to a charity hospital in a developing nation to provide voluntary cardiac medical device implant services. However, this endeavour incurs costs of £2000 per healthcare professional, which includes expenses for flights, accommodation, local transport, and food.
We kindly request your generous financial support to help cover a portion of the expenses for this medical device implant camp. Join us in making a difference by supporting our fundraiser. Together, we can provide vital medical care and improve the lives of patients who deserve access to life-saving treatments.
