Hi everyone,

I hope all of you are excited about the football World Cup starting this month. Even if you are not passionate about football, the World Cup is a great watch, especially when it gets to the final stages. It is very hard to pick a favorite for this one, which means it will be a very interesting tournament. Moreover, England are playing USA in the group stage, and Canada are playing for the first time since 1986! We are organising some competitions for everyone who is interested and will be watching some football in the next month.

We are organising a sweepstake in The UK, similar to the Wimbledon one. The names of the participating countries are all in a bowl (by reception in Unit 12 in Stratford upon Avon). Feel free to get one (or more) tickets to have a chance of winning a special prize, if the country you selected wins the tournament. Please keep your ticket safe until the tournament ends (Sunday 18th of December).  Please donate here if you are participating. There is a suggested donation of 2 GBP/CAD per ticket. If you are working from home, or the tickets are too far from you, get in touch with @Adam Hulme and he can draw a ticket for you.

We have more competitions for the more interested football fans: the official match predictor and Fantasy games! You will need to create an a FIFA account here for both.

In the match predictor, you get points for predicting the final score of all the World Cup games. Please join the league using this link or using the code: L0QOFAZ2.

There is also a World Cup Fantasy league, similar to the Premier League one. The international fantasy leagues are always fun and do not require that much effort! Join the league here or using the code: J195GQUY.
